Fertility Preseravtion

Preservation of fertility is possible for men and women if there is a serious condition (such as cancer) that could affect the ability to have children. We work closely with oncology colleagues so that consideration of future fertility is given.
Most women are aware of declining fertility with increasing female age. Some of them choose to freeze or bank their eggs in order to have a pregnancy later on in life. We offer
Oocyte (Egg) freezing, Sperm freezing, Embryo freezing, and Ovarian tissue cryopreservation

Counselling

At revive, we understand that the emotional impact of infertility is often neglected and that the problem is reduced to a mere biological or medical one.
If the wish is not fulfilled, it may diminish self-confidence and hopelessness may arise. There may be feelings of guilt or grief that could even the relationship within the family. We have therefore a dedicated counselor whom the couple must see before undergoing any advanced fertility treatment.

Genetic Testing

We offer genetic testing alongside your IVF treatment for 2 reasons.

  1. PGD/PGT-M: Preimplantation genetic diagnosis helps identify embryos affected by some serious genetic conditions that are known to run in certain families. This helps to prevent a pregnancy that would give rise to a child with a serious health problem that may be fatal at an early age.
  2. PGS/PGT-A: Preimplantation genetic screening of embryos also helps to screen for the most common genetic problems known as aneuploidies. This is suitable for women over 35years of age or those couples with recurrent IVF failures

Recurrent Implantation Failures

Repeated implantation failure (RIF) is determined when embryos of good quality fail to implant following several in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment cycles. Implantation failure is related to either uterine causes or embryo causes.
We offer advanced uterine receptivity tests such as ERA/EMMA/ALICE (https://www.igenomix.com/our-services/endometrio-pacients/). This helps us individualize the embryo transfer time that would increase the chances of having successful implantation.

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Pregnancy loss is a surprisingly common occurrence, with approximately 15% of all pregnancies resulting in a miscarriage, more so as the woman’s age advances. Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is defined as 3 consecutive pregnancy losses prior to 20 weeks pregnancy and it affects approximately 1% to 2% of women.
We understand that having a miscarriage is distressing especially after undergoing fertility treatment. We offer counseling and investigations to help understand the causes and treatment options available (https://www.rcog.org.uk/globalassets/documents/patients/patient-information-leaflets/pregnancy/pi-recurrent-and-late-miscarriage—tests-and-treatment-of-couples.pdf)

Urogynecology Services

Urinary leaking or incontinence can happen after childbirth or after menopause. A lot of women in India are unaware that effective treatments are available. The best defense against this is pelvic floor exercises or Kegel’s exercises (https://www.nhs.uk/common-health-questions/womens-health/what-are-pelvic-floor-exercises/)

Menopausal problems are unique ranging from annoying sweats and sleeplessness to prolapse of uterus, depression and bone weakness. These are addressed in a multidisciplinary approach to get the best outcome with the least intervention.
